Bioremediation and Biodegradation

In which the microorganisms or their enzymes are used to clean up environment is called Bioremediation The organic compound that is degraded is usually the animal and plant waste which is converted into certain elements that are returned to the environment and are used again usually by plants is called Biodegradation, biodegradation helps the elements or the nutrients are returned to the environment
Types of bioremediation:
In situ (the compounds are treated in the same place)
Ex situ (the compounds are treated at some other place)
